In terms of pure ability, Kancey is an All Pro in the making. He is so incredibly quick and surprisingly powerful for his size. There are very few defensive tackles across the league who can pressure the quarterback like he can.

The only issue is Kancey’s ability to stay healthy. However, there is no denying his impact when he is on the field. If the Bucs are going to win a Super Bowl with this core then Kancey is going to be a big reason as to why. 

4) Antoine Winfield Jr.

One of the best safeties in the game today. Winfield is a solid coverage player on the back end and a disrupter in the box. He’s incredibly well rounded and can do anything you can ask a safety to do at a high level.

Winfield has gone from champion, to Pro Bowler, to All Pro. Now he looks to continue stacking those types of seasons and building on what could be a special career. In terms of name brand star power, Winfield is one of the best there is.

3) Luke Goedeke

I don’t think the casual fan has caught up to how good Goedeke is. He has no accolades to his name and gets little fan fare on the offensive line. All he does is just line up and impose his will on defensive linemen.

I would argue that Goedeke is one of the five best right tackles in the NFL today. He’s a tone setter in the running game and an above average pass protector. There aren’t many meaner or better offensive tackles in the game today.

2) Vita Vea

Defensive tackles rarely make the hall of fame. That’s a shame because Vea is probably the best nose tackle of the last 25 years. He’s a freak of nature who is 6’4 and a conservative 340 lbs of pure force.

In six of his eight pro seasons, Vea has helped anchor a run defense that was top 5 in fewest rushing yards allowed. And unlike other dominating run stuffers like Vince Wilfork or Haloti Ngata, Vea is also a factor as a pass rusher. He is the foundation of this Buccaneers defense and a truly rare talent.

1) Tristan Wirfs

When you think of the all time great offensive tackles you might think of players like Orlando Pace, Walter Jones or Tyron Smith. Tristan Wirfs is that caliber of tackle. The multi time All Pro is the best in the game today and is establishing himself as a Hall of Famer with each passing year.

In terms of pass protection, there is no one better. As a run blocker Wirfs is so incredibly athletic and can maul opponents in space. In terms of elite players, most teams don’t have somebody who is on Wirfs’ level.
