Last week, four-star linebacker Jordan Campbell wrapped up his unofficial visit with Florida State and was scheduled for official visits with Auburn, Nebraska, Missouri, Miami and FSU over the coming weeks.

On Sunday, one week after his visit with the Seminoles, Campbell officially shut down his recruitment.

When asked by Rivals.com’s John Garcia Jr. if he had any message for Canes fans, he declared, "I’ll be officially closing out my recruitment and being 1,000% a Cane. ... I’m home, baby."

The 6-foot-2, 200-pound standout out of Miami Northwestern Senior High School had his unofficial visit to the University of Miami in March.

This move cancels his remaining official visits and cements his status as a Miami commit.

Over the past several months, Campbell has emerged as one of the most pursued linebackers in the 2026 recruiting class.

Initially pledging to the Hurricanes on Nov. 21, 2023, he kept his options open, locking in official visits to various other Power Five schools.

A Florida native, Campbell has excelled at one of the state’s premier high school programs in Miami Northwestern.

With Campbell playing under head coach and former NFL quarterback Teddy Bridgewater at Northwestern, national recruiting services regarded the linebacker as a top-150 prospect.

On3 ranks him No. 136 overall and No. 8 among linebackers in the 2026 cycle, while 247Sports slots him at No. 152 nationally and No. 7 at his position.

Miami’s 2026 recruiting class ranks 12th nationally, led by five-star offensive tackle Jackson Cantwell, four-star cornerbacks Camdin Portis and Jaelen Waters and now Campbell.
