Tyreek Hill is reportedly being investigated by the NFL

Tyreek Hill recently faced troubling new allegations from his estranged wife, and that has reportedly resulted in the NFL opening an investigation into the Miami Dolphins star’s conduct.

Hill’s wife, Keeta Vaccaro, filed for divorce from Hill in April, a day after police were called to Hill’s home for a domestic dispute. Vaccaro told police that Hill was behaving in a way that made her concerned for the safety of the couple’s daughter. Both Hill and Vaccaro told police that the argument never turned physical, and an investigation into the incident was quickly closed.

On Monday, TMZ obtained new documents pertaining to the ongoing divorce. In a new filing, Vaccaro says Hill became physically violent with her on eight separate occasions after the two got married in late 2023. Vaccaro claims she sustained visible injuries in at least one of the incidents and that one occurred when she was pregnant.

Mike Florio of Pro Football Talk spoke about the Hill situation during a Thursday appearance on “The Rich Eisen Show.” Florio recently reported that the Pittsburgh Steelers and Kansas City Chiefs might have interest in trying to trade for Hill, but he says the new allegations from Vaccaro have complicated things. The reporter said the NFL is now investigating Hill under its personal conduct policy.

“The league has launched a personal conduct investigation, so I think any team that would be interested in trading for Tyreek Hill wants to be sure that it’s not trading for a guy that’s going to be suspended before the end of the season.,” Florio said. “That is a massive complication that wasn’t there when the chatter began of maybe the Chiefs or the Steelers trying to get Tyreek Hill if this Week 1 trend continues.”

Hill has vehemently denied the allegations through his attorney, who told TMZ that the claims are “nothing more than an attempt by Ms. Vacarro, her mother and/or her counsel to shake Mr. Hill down.”

The Dolphins were blown out 33-8 by the Indianapolis Colts on Sunday. Tua Tagovailoa had an interception and a fumble early on, and Hill was shown looking angry on the sideline.

The Dolphins may not have had interest in trading Hill anyway, but it is unlikely that any team will try to swing a deal while Hill is being investigated by the NFL.
