Von Miller has made the call to join America’s team.
Several reporters confirmed Sunday that Miller is expected to sign with the Dallas Cowboys ahead of the 2026 NFL season. Miller teased Cowboys fans further shortly after the news broke by uploading a photo of himself edited into a Cowboys uniform.
“Dallas ! Let’s make this one Special !” Miller captioned the post on X.

Miller’s decision to sign with the Cowboys feels like a long time coming. The 37-year-old was born and raised in DeSoto, a suburb of Dallas County, a few miles from downtown Dallas. Miller played high school football in DeSoto and later starred for Texas A&M from 2007 to 2010.
While Miller is no longer the All-Pro defender he once was with the Denver Broncos, he proved last season that he remains impactful on that end of the field.
Miller led the Washington Commanders with 9.0 sacks and was second on the team with 15 quarterback hits while also remaining healthy for a full 17-game campaign.
Despite getting a chance to prove his worth in D.C., Miller admitted last month that he made a mistake signing with the Commanders last season. Washington was one of two teams that offered him a contract, with the other being the Super Bowl-winning Seattle Seahawks.
