Washington Football Team safety Deshazor Everett was involved in a fatal car crash on Thursday night in Loudoun County, Virginia, that killed the vehicle's passenger, multiple sources reported.
Washington DB Deshazor Everett was involved in a fatal crash last night that left a female passenger dead, per the Loudoun County Sheriff. Everett is in the hospital with “serious but non-life threatening injuries.” The cause of the crash remains under investigation.

Details about the nature of the crash are still being investigated, although it is believed Everett's vehicle, a 2010 Nissan, was the only vehicle involved.

At about 9:15 p.m., per the Loudoun County Sheriff's office, Everett's car "left the right side of the roadway, struck several trees, and rolled over." The cause of the crash remains under investigation at this time and police are looking for possible witnesses to it

Everett, 29, has been Washington's backup safety since 2015. The team issued a statement on Friday morning regarding the crash.
