Watch: Dolphins practice, perfect roller coaster TD celebration

A clip from HBO's "Hard Knocks" released Monday showed that the Miami Dolphins were hard at work last week in preparation for Sunday's roller coaster touchdown celebration against the Washington Commanders.

The AFC East-leading Dolphins were selected in October to be this year's featured team on the reality series' in-season edition.

The clip shows that in practice last week, star wide receiver Jaylen Waddle suggested the team do what appeared to be a rowboat touchdown celebration in their Week 13 contest. Fellow wideout Tyreek Hill dismissed the idea, however, and brought up the roller coaster theatrics as an option.

In the dress rehearsal, Hill was joined by Waddle and fellow wide receivers Braxton Berrios and River Cracraft, as well as running back Raheem Mostert, in the pretend roller coaster seats. Offensive lineman Robert Hunt acted as what seemed to be a theme park employee, strapping all the riders into their seat belts and fullback Alec Ingold played along in the practice as well.

The teammates got a chance to debut the creative celebration in the first quarter against Washington (following a 78-yard touchdown catch from Hill) and the "Cheetah" was joined by Berrios, Cracraft, Mostert and wideout Cedrick Wilson Jr. as passengers. Hunt reprised his role as the employee and Waddle replaced Ingold as the instructor, telling the riders how to move.

Hill leads the league in touchdown receptions with 12, so there could be many more interesting celebrations coming this winter in South Beach.
