Perhaps Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes isn't unbeatable in the Super Bowl.
With the Chiefs trailing the Philadelphia Eagles, 17-0, in the second quarter of Super Bowl LIX on Sunday, Philadelphia linebacker Zack Baun intercepted Mahomes at Kansas City's 14-yard line.
Two plays later, Eagles quarterback Jalen Hurts threw a 12-yard touchdown to wide receiver A.J. Brown.

Typically, Mahomes is at his best in the playoffs. Entering Super Bowl LIX, the three-time Super Bowl champion has a 17-3 record in the postseason. His passer rating has also improved from 102.1 to 105.8, per Pro Football Reference.
Mahomes, however, did flop in Super Bowl LV against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. In the 31-9 loss, he threw two interceptions and was sacked three times. It seems the Eagles are using the same strategy as the Buccaneers.
K.C.'s inability to run the ball could be putting more pressure on Mahomes. In the playoffs, the Chiefs have ranked 11th out of 14 teams in rushing yards (92.5).
