Watch: Have the 'Flat-Earthers' gotten to Eagles' A.J. Brown?

After setting the record for the most consecutive games with 125 yards or more receiving in NFL history, A.J. Brown could be the greatest receiver on planet Earth. Actually, Brown has some thoughts on that last part.

As part of a series of lighthearted locker-room videos, members the PR staff of the Philadelphia Eagles went to see if the players had any questions for them. The results were fairly tame, except for Brown’s, who asked, "Do you believe the Earth is flat?"

Bet you didn't see that coming. If Brown is looking for company with his implied flat Earth hypothesis, he could have a friend in the NBA.

In 2017, Kyrie Irving made headlines when he said, “This is not even a conspiracy theory. The Earth is flat. It’s right in front of our faces. I’m telling you, it’s right in front of our faces. They lie to us.”

Irving later apologized while never technically retracting the comments. Brown has other things to worry about (like next week's Cowboys game), but could his comments come back to haunt him? Not as long as the team is winning and he keeps putting up those 100-yard games.
