When you've got to warm up, you've got to warm up.
Just ask elite athletes J.J. McCarthy and Blake Corum, two "Michigan Men" and national champions who are now preparing themselves to take a shot at the NFL.
McCarthy and Corum are college superstars, no doubt, but they are no longer Wolverines and are instead each in the highly competitive and highly selective pool of players who have entered their names in the 2024 NFL Draft.
There's no star treatment at the combine. So much so that video was taken of the two stars warming up for their combine drills while in the hallways of the convention center.

You've got to get in work while you can, especially when so much is on the line.
McCarthy is considered one of the better quarterback prospects in the draft, but he still has lots of work to do, as most believe he's firmly behind the likes of USC's Caleb Williams, North Carolina's Drake Maye and LSU's Jayden Daniels. He could be a first-round pick, but is likely a second-rounder.
Corum was a superstar for the Wolverines, but running back is a tough position to break in at in the NFL. It's also a tough position in regard to draft evaluation, but even so, there's a world in which the former Michigan running back could be taken in the second or third round.
