Watch: NFL Fans Continue Tradition of Singing ‘Take Me Home, Country Roads’ in Germany

Country roads can take you anywhere from West Virginia to Munich, Germany.

On Sunday, fans did what they often do while watching one of the NFL international games in Germany – sing “Take Me Home, Country Roads” in unison.

The Carolina Panthers beat the New York Giants 20-17 in overtime, but videos of fans singing the John Denver song synonymous with West Virginia and WVU took over social media just as much as coverage of the actual game.
