Pass-catching back J.D. McKissic is on injured reserve and hasn't played since Week 12, which means the bulk of Sunday's carries could go to undrafted rookie Jaret Patterson. The 22-year-old has appeared in all 15 games this season, recording 50 carries for 188 rushing yards and one touchdown.
Gibson leads Washington in rushing attempts (237), rushing yards (891) and rushing touchdowns (six). He has also contributed 41 receptions for 289 receiving yards and three touchdowns on 49 targets.
The Football Team and Eagles are scheduled to kick off at 1:00 p.m. ET on Sunday.
