According to Adam Schefter, there is zero indication that there is any kind of trade brewing involving Raiders DE Maxx Crosby.
Per Schefter, Crosby isn’t seeking a trade and the Raiders don’t currently plan to trade him. They also haven’t had any discussions with another team about a deal.
He adds that since this offseason’s blockbuster deal to the Ravens fell through, Crosby has continued to be all-in on staying with the Raiders.
“Maxx absolutely does not want to leave Las Vegas under any circumstances,” one source told Schefter. “His hope, though not in his full control, is that he remains a Raider for life.”
There’s some thought in NFL circles that it would take a gargantuan offer of two first-round picks for Crosby to get the Raiders to trade Crosby again.
Crosby reportedly shut down a trade to the Rams with the strongest bid after the Baltimore deal went through because he wanted to remain with the Raiders.
Crosby, 29, is a former fourth-round pick of the Raiders back in 2019 out of Eastern Michigan University. He was entering the final year of his four-year, $3,302,264 contract that included a $782,264 signing bonus and was set to make a base salary of $850,000 when he signed a four-year, $98.98 million contract extension with over $53 million guaranteed.
Crosby was due base salaries of $22.236 million and $18.84 million in the final two years of the deal when he signed a three-year, $106.5 million extension in March 2025.
Las Vegas agreed to trade Crosby to the Ravens for a blockbuster picks package but Baltimore backed out of the deal after becoming concerned about Crosby’s physical.
In 2026, Crosby has appeared in seven games for the Raiders and recorded 18 total tackles, three tackles for loss, two sacks, a pass defended, a forced fumble and a fumble recovery.
We’ll have more on Crosby as the news is available.
