The Florida Panthers are the class of the NHL following another Stanley Cup Final win. This marks two straight titles for the Panthers, and the team will be looking to go after a three-peat next season.

The front office made quick work to keep the core group together this offseason, and many see Florida as having a solid chance to make history. The Panthers have a lot of talent across the roster, and until someone else knocks them off, they will be favored to win again.

Defenseman Aaron Ekblad weighed in on the chances of Panthers to win the title next season. Ekblad said that the team is preparing for the year like any other season.

"We thought about winning it for a second straight year last year, too, so I am not going to think any differently this time around," Ekblad said before the defenseman hit the ice for an informal skate following his appearance on GMA. "We don't think that thinking or talking about winning the Cup again is jinxing anything. I am preparing for the marathon that is an NHL season and the playoffs. I am preparing for it like another season."

Many around the league believed that Eklbad would leave Florida this offseason due to financial constraints, but he signed a massive extension to stay put. The Panthers will be getting every team's best shot next season as they all look to knock them off.

Three-peating is one of the toughest things to do in sports, especially in such a strong league like the NHL. But this Panthers team has the will to win and the talent to dominate on the ice.
