This morning, it was announced that longtime AHL forward Andrew Agozzino is signing overseas to play with EHC Biel-Bienne of the NL. Agozzino, this past season, played in 56 games for the Tucson Roadrunners and was an assistant captain. He had 39 points on 19 goals and 20 assists. Agozzino was a minus-three with seven power-play goals, a shorthanded goal, four game-winning goals, and 24 penalty minutes. He also played in two games with the Utah Mammoth, where he was held pointless and was even in plus/minus.

Agozzino spent three seasons with the Niagara IceDogs in the OHL, where in 183 games he had 144 points on 76 goals and 68 assists. He was a plus-eight. In 17 playoff games, he had 16 points on nine goals and seven assists; he was a -11.
He spent 15 seasons in the AHL playing for the Peoria Rivermen, Lake Erie Monsters, San Antonio Rampage on two separate stints, Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins, Chicago Wolves, Colorado Eagles, Belleville Senators, San Jose Barracuda, San Diego Gulls on two separate stints, and the Roadrunners. In 847 career games, he had 662 points on 284 goals and 378 assists. He was a minus-four with 98 power-play goals, 13 shorthanded goals, and 46 game-winning goals. In 22 Calder Cup Playoff games, he had 18 points on ten goals and eight assists. He was a minus-four with two power-play goals, two shorthanded goals, and three game-winning goals.
Agozzino also played in 53 career NHL games, spending time with the Colorado Avalanche, Pittsburgh Penguins, Anaheim Ducks, Ottawa Senators, San Jose Sharks, and the Mammoth. He had 12 points on three goals and nine assists. He was a plus-four with a shorthanded goal.
