Manitoba Moose forward Jaydon Dureau is heading to USports, joining the University of Saskatchewan for the 2026-27 season. Dureau, 25, put up 18 goals and 29 assists for 47 points in 54 games last season in the ECHL with the Norfolk Admirals. He becomes the third member of the Moose to leave the team for other opportunities since the 2025-26 season.

The former fifth-round pick of the Tampa Bay Lightning in 2020 has played 36 AHL games with the Syracuse Crunch, where he’s put up three goals and four assists for seven points. Dureau has spent four seasons in the ECHL, spending time with the Orlando Solar Bears and Norfolk Admirals. During his time with the Solar Bears, he put up 29 goals and 44 assists for 73 points in 103 games. In 19 career Kelly Cup Playoff games with Orlando, he had four goals and nine assists for 13 points.

Prior to going pro, the White City, Saskatchewan, native spent parts of five seasons in the WHL with the Portland Winterhawks. Over the course of his time with the Winterhawks, he put up 65 goals and 131 assists for 196 points in 207 games. He would add a goal and eight assists for nine points in 14 WHL Playoff games.
