The free agent signings are still trickling in as the summer meanders its way through August. While there hasn’t been any movement on the major restricted free agent front, a couple of familiar names inked deals that will give them a shot at making the NHL.

Jaydon Dureau Signed by the Manitoba Moose

The Manitoba Moose announced yesterday that the team has signed forward Jaydon Dureau to a one-year contract through the 2025-26 season. The White City, Saskatchewan-born forward split time between the American Hockey Leagues (AHL) Syracuse Crunch and the ECHL’s Orlando Solar Bears in the 2024-25 season.

[Update 8/6/25: Jaydon Dureau has been removed from the selections. He apparently had not been tendered a contract and was a free agent. As he was not tracking in the Top 25 at his point, it won’t affect the final rankings…JG] It’s the most wonderful time of the year.

ECHL: Orlando Solar Bears’ Roster Transactions | 11/21/2024

The Orlando Solar Bears have made several roster changes recently. Yesterday the team announced that Jaydon Dureau, a forward assigned from the Syracuse Crunch by the Tampa Bay Lightning, would be bringing his skills to the Solar Bears.
