Boston Bruins 2026 Prospect Showcase Roster and Schedule

The Boston Bruins yesterday announced their roster and schedule for the 2026 Rookie Camp and Prospect Showcase. They will face the Buffalo Sabres in two games against their prospects. The games will be played on Sunday and Monday. The Bruins will leave for Buffalo following a practice on Friday at 10:15 AM EST and Saturday at 9:30 AM EST. The games will be played on Sunday at 5:00 PM EST and Monday at 12:00 PM EST. This marks the 11th straight season the Bruins are taking part in the Prospects Showcase.

Bruins Names To Watch

Riley Duran

Duran last season appeared in 72 games for Providence where he had 19 points on seven goals and 12 assists. He was a +19 with his a shorthanded goal and two game-winning goals. He didn’t record a point in the playoffs and was even in plus/minus. He’s played in two games with Boston coming in 2024-25 where he was a minus-one. Duran in 143 games with Providence has 39 points on 21 goals and 18 assists. He’s a +23 with a power-play goal, two shorthanded goals, and five game-winning goals.

James Hagens

Hagens last season in 34 games at Boston College had 47 points on 23 goals and 24 assists. He was a plus-ten with six power-play goals and six game-winning goals. He then made the jump to professional hockey. Hagens played in six games with Providence recording four points on a goal and three assists. He was a minus-one with a power-play goal and game-winning goal. In two regular season games with Boston he had an assist and was a plus-one. In three playoff games he was a minus-two.

Dans Locmelis

Locmelis was having a fantastic season last year with Providence before an injury ended his season. In 43 games he had 28 points on 15 goals and 13 assists. He was a +16 with four power-play goals, two shorthanded goals, and four game-winning goals. Locmelis made his name known during the Olympics playing with Latvia where in four games he had two goals and was a minus-four.

Max Wanner

Wanner appeared in 29 games for Providence last season where he had a goal and two assists. He was a plus-eight with a game-winning goal. Wanner also appeared in three games for the Maine Mariners in the ECHL scoring a goal. He was a minus-two in four Calder Cup Playoff games last season.

Max Lundgren

Lundgren signed with the Bruins in March after playing at Merrimack College. He appeared in every game for Merrimack last season going 21-16-2 with a 2.55 goals-against average, a .920 save percentage, and a shutout. He led Merrimack as an eight seed to a Hockey East Tournament Championship claiming an automatic bid in the NCAA Tournament. In four Hockey East Tournament games he went 4-0-0 with a 1.48 goals-against average, a .955 save percentage, and a shutout. In the NCAA tournament Merrimack lost to North Dakota 3-0 as Lundgren stopped 25 of the 27 shots he faced. He didn’t make his debut in the Bruins organization after signing.
