Boston Bruins Place Navrin Mutter on Waivers

The Boston Bruins play their first preseason game tonight against the Washington Capitals. Ahead of tonight’s game, forward Navrin Mutter has been placed on waivers. The plan would be for him to clear waivers and report to the Providence Bruins of the AHL.

He appeared in 39 AHL games between Providence and Milwaukee. Mutter had a goal and an assist. He was a -12 with 95 penalty minutes. He appeared in four playoff games for Providence but was held without a point and was even in plus/minus. In 12 regular-season games for Providence had scored a goal, was a minus-two, and had 23 penalty minutes.
