
After not receiving a qualifying offer yesterday, the Boston Bruins signed forward Alexis Gendron to an AHL deal for 2026-27 with Providence. Gendron was acquired by the Bruins from Philadelphia last season. In ten games with Providence, he had a goal and two assists. He was a minus-six with a power-play goal. He was held pointless in one playoff game with Providence. Gendron would appear in 57 games between the Phantoms and Providence last season, recording 25 points on 11 goals and 14 assists. Gendron was a -16 with four power-play goals and two game-winning goals.

Gendron, before last season, had appeared in 80 games, recording 35 points on 25 goals and ten assists. He was a minus-seven with six power-play goals and four game-winning goals. In 137 career AHL games, he has 60 points on 36 goals and 24 assists. He’s a -23 with ten power-play goals and six game-winning goals. Last season was his first appearance in a playoff game.
Before joining the AHL, he played five seasons in the QMJHL. He played 3.5 seasons with Blainville-Boisbrand Armada, half a season with Gatineau Olympiques, and his final season was with Drummondville Voltiguers. In those four seasons, he appeared in 176 games and had 159 points on 104 goals and 55 assists; he was a plus-ten.
