Brad Marchand and the Panthers are in full celebration mode after winning the Stanley Cup, and in his latest act, the veteran has trolled the rest of the NHL.
The Florida Panthers are one of the deepest teams in NHL history, and after back-to-back Stanley Cup victories, they have a chance to cement themselves as an all-time dynasty with another one in 2026.
For now though, the team are having fun celebrating their 2025 victory, with the team still going after winning it all on Tuesday night, and on social media, things have been getting wild.
Veteran Brad Marchand was a mid-season pickup for the Panthers this season, on a team that's full of players acquired via trade and free agency, and it was the former teams of those players that he took shots at on social media.
All over Marchand's Instagram story, he shared photos of players, thanking their former teams for letting him go, calling out Calgary for letting go of Matthew Tkachuk and Sam Bennett, Buffalo for letting go of Sam Reinhart and even the Winnipeg Jets for letting go of Paul Maurice.
Not to be outdone, Reinhart chimed in on his own Instagram story, thanking the Boston Bruins for trading their former captain to Florida before he tallied six goals in the Stanley Cup Finals, playing a key role in their victory.
These comments from Marchand directly show how well the Panthers did in putting this squad together, as they grabbed pieces that few other teams wanted and brought them together to make one of the deepest teams we've ever seen in the NHL, and even if they lose key free agents this off-season, they'll still be in the mix again in 2026.
