Canadiens' Ivan Demidov will be taking part in a shootout tournament on the evening of July 12, in the LSHL, which is a summer 3v3 pro hockey league.

LSHL Commissioner Zachary Fucale pledged a thrilling summer hockey experience in his latest Instagram story, highlighting a July 12 'showdown' at 6:00 p.m. involving Montreal Canadiens rookie sensation Ian Demidov.

Fucale had already posted on 'La Poche Bleue' that Demidov would play for the Living Sisu 3-on-3 league this summer, so it comes as no surprise to see him doing promotional work.

Announcing it on 'Salut Bonjour', Fucale said the 'Make Your Move' shootout tournament will be held July 12-13, with Demidov being one of the featured players on the opening night.

The full roster is still a secret, so it's not known which other NHLers are taking part

Living Sisu Hockey League begins July 7 for the women's league and July 8 for the men's. Rosters remain secret, but tickets are on sale. The seven-week schedule concludes August 18-19.

The games will air on 'La Poche Bleue' across various platforms. Individuals may also view last season's highlights on the league website to preview this summer's action.

A night's admission is $12.50 for two games, and it all goes to the Pancreatic Cancer Canada Foundation. It's a fine summer outing for hockey fans: entertainment, family-friendly, and for a good cause.

Don't expect full-contact brutality, as players use the league as a means of maintaining their skills over the off-season, not of getting hurt.

The 3-on-3 format lends itself to speed and creativity, so it's high-speed, highlight-reel hockey, especially tough on goalies. All games are to be hosted at Hockey Etc. Montreal (5920 Chemin de la Côte-de-Liesse, Ville Mont-Royal, QC).
