Canucks announce 2025-26 training camp roster

On the eve of their 2025-26 training camp, the Vancouver Canucks announced their roster heading to Penticton this weekend.

The confirmed roster consists of:

Forwards: Vilmer Alriksson, Nils Aman, Arshdeep Bains, Josh Bloom, Teddy Blueger, Brock Boeser, Gabriel Chiarot, Filip Chytil, Braeden Cootes, Jake DeBrusk, Kieren Dervin, Conor Garland, Nils Höglander, Dino Kambeitz, Evander Kane, Linus Karlsson, Danila Klimovich, Viltali Kravtsov, Jackson Kunz, Joseph LaBate, Jonathan Lekkerimäki, Mackenzie MacEachern, Ty Mueller, Drew O’Connor, Riley Patterson, Elias Pettersson, Aatu Räty, Anri Ravinskis, Max Sasson, Kiefer Sherwood, Chase Stillman, Cooper Walker, and Chase Wouters.

Defencemen: Parker Alcos, Joe Arntsen, Guillaume Brisebois, Derek Forbort, Filip Hronek, Quinn Hughes, P.O. Joseph, Nikolai Knyzhov, Kirill Kudryavtsev, Jayden Lee, Victor Mancini, Tyler Myers, Sawyer Mynio, Elias Pettersson, Marcus Pettersson, Zack Sandhu, Jimmy Schuldt, Tom Willander, and Jett Woo.

Goalies: Thatcher Demko, Aku Koskenvuo, Kevin Lankinen, Aleksei Medvedev, Jiri Patera, Nikita Tolopilo, and Ty Young.

Of the five amateur invites from this past weekend’s Prospect Showcase, Zack Sandhu was the only one to be invited to Canucks Training Camp.

The Canucks just wrapped up their Prospect Showcase against the Seattle Kraken, splitting the two-game series. The Canucks got out to a 3-0 lead in the second period of Game 1, but a third period collapse saw them lose the contest 5-3. Vilmer Alriksson, Gabriel Chairot and Nick Poisson had the goals for Vancouver, with Aleksei Medvedev getting the start. The Canucks rebounded in Game 2, securing the 3-2 victory. Jonathan Lekkerimäki, Aaron Obabaifo and Riley Patterson scored, while Aku Koskenvuo owned the crease.

Despite leaving Game 1 of the Prospect Showcase, The Athletic’s Thomas Drance reported that 2025 first-round pick Braeden Cootes is expected to be available for training camp.
