Does recent quote from Arber Xhekaj suggest his focus is on the wrong thing?

Arber Xhekaj of the Montreal Canadiens and his brother Florian Xhekaj are set to suit up together, but the eldest brother has his focus on the wrong thing.

The Montreal Canadiens are set to kick off their preseason schedule Monday night against the Philadelphia Flyers. As we've seen in the rookie games, Arber Xhekajs brother Florian Xhekaj can hold his own, but does the elder Xhekaj have his head in the right place, especially when his brother is on the ice? It doesn't appear that way.

According to Priyanta Emrith, when Florian was asked a question about the physicality of the NHL game, even in the preseason, the younger Xhekaj wasn't even able to answer the question before Arber swooped in and answered for him.

Florian Xhekaj Might be the younger brother at just 20 years old, but physically, he's no pushover. Already, Florian is 6-foot-4- inches and 190 pounds. It will be interesting to see how he adjusts to the game at the NHL level even if it is just the NHL preseason.

Don't get me wrong, it's an admirable thing for Arber Xhekaj to want to protect his younger brother while they're on the same team, but not letting him answer that question proves that his brother will be a distraction to him on the ice.

At the end of the day, we'll have to wait and see how this plays out, but by all accounts having both players on the ice will probably be a distraction for not only the brothers, but the Canadiens as a team. Hopefully, the Xhekajs are able to focus on the right things this season, otherwise having the Wifi's brothers on the same team even in the preseason is a mistake and will only make them focus on everything but playing good hockey.
