Team Canada's Drew Doughty issued a warning to Team USA's Matthew Tkachuk ahead of the 4 Nations Face-Off rematch between Canada and the USA.
Sam Bennett had a message for Team USA after Canada lost a very violent and physical game on Saturday night in Montreal that saw the U.S. clinch a spot in Thursday's 4 Nations finale.
Canada had to defeat Finland in regulation on Monday in order to get the rematch Bennett asked for, which they did, despite the finish being more of a nail-biter than it should have been.
After securing a rematch with USA on Thursday, Drew Doughty was asked about the possibility of fighting Matthew Tkachuk if it got to that point, to which Doughty issued a warning to the Stanley Cup Champion.
'I'll do anything for my country,' said the Kings defenseman.
For those that don't know, Doughty and Tkachuk have had a long-standing feud that dates back to the 2016-17 season when the then Flames rookie caught the Kings defenceman with an elbow to the head.
A few other incidents followed, but with them being in opposing conferences now, things have settled down, at least temporarily.
Their feud could be re-ignited on Thursday in what should be another violent affair as the two sides collide in the finals.
