Norfolk Admirals forward Brody Crane is heading overseas to Australia to join the Melbourne Mustangs. He is the first player signed by the Mustangs for next season. Crane, 22, recorded nine goals and ten assists for 19 points in 28 games. The Union, Ontario, native spent two seasons in the ECHL, where he totaled 27 goals and 29 assists for 56 points in 121 games with the Jacksonville Icemen and Norfolk Admirals. During his time with the Icemen, Crane played in four games in the 2025 Kelly Cup Playoffs. In January last season, Crane was traded by the Jacksonville Icemen to the Norfolk Admirals . He becomes the second member of the Admirals to take the overseas route since the end of the 2025–26 season, joining Jaydon Dureau.

Junior Career

Prior to turning pro, Brody Crane played four seasons in the OHL with the London Knights, Niagara IceDogs, and Guelph Storm. During his OHL career, he recorded 31 goals and 50 assists for 81 points in 171 games. Crane also added six goals and two assists for eight points in 29 playoff games with the London Knights and Guelph Storm. During the 2024 Playoffs, Crone and Michael Buchinger lead the team with two goals and an assist.
