As the NHL offseason continues, we could just be starting to see some movement via the trade market. Most of the main free agents are off the board, and teams are now looking to trades to improve their roster.
One of the more interesting names that could be available is defenseman Rasmus Andersson of the Calgary Flames. Andersson has been subject to all sorts of trade rumors this summer, and it could see Calgary part with the star defender in a deal.
However, it seems that there could be some complications within any trade talks. According to The Fourth Period, Andersson has two prominent teams on his no-trade list.
That would be the Ottawa Senators and Los Angeles Kings, both of which have expressed interest in landing the star. Due to this, Anderrsson would need to waive his no-trade clause, or the Flames will need to look elsewhere to move him.

(Note: both of these teams have expressed interest in Andersson)
Andersson could be a steal for either of these two teams, but it seems unlikely at this point. Calgary likely wouldn't be willing to move the star to a division rival like the Kings unless they were getting a massive haul in return.
Last season for the Flames, Andersson scored 11 goals and 20 assists over 81 games played. The veteran has maintained consistency in each season he has played, and there are multiple teams vying for his services.
Whether Calgary ultimately moves him remains to be seen, but the Flames have made it known that he can be had. Andersson could be a game-changer for whichever team lands him due to his ability to change a defensive unit for the better.
