His late-season surge earned him another contract, and it has paid off with him producing in a top-six role. In addition to his 31 points, Chromiak leads the team in power-play points with 13 (11 primary points). He is also tied for the team lead in goals (15) and is second in assists (16).

His vision has also improved with his passes connecting on cross ice or backdoor feeds.
