Leafs’ Max Pacioretty Leaves Game Early Versus Blue Jackets
Dan Hamilton-Imagn Images

The Toronto Maple Leafs faced two losses last night versus the Columbus Blue Jackets, with a loss of 6-2 and also an injury to depth piece veteran forward Max Pacioretty, who left the game early last night.

While no play really stood out hinting at an injury, it’s important to keep in mind that Pacioretty has been in and out of the lineup over the last few seasons, going back to his days in Vegas and Carolina.

Pacioretty, was signed on a PTO during training camp and has been a very reliable depth piece so far during this early season in Toronto, with two goals so far, perhaps taking the work load off of captain Auston Matthews.

While no update has been made yet, one should be made available in the coming hours. The injury is deemed as a lower body one.

“Craig Berube says he’s not sure how serious Max Pacioretty’s lower-body injury is. “We’ll find out tomorrow.””
