Meredith Gaudreau shares Matthew Gaudreau's speech at her & Johnny's wedding

Johnny & Matthew Gaudreau's passing has hit the hockey world incredibly hard, and it has been extremely difficult for their families, especially their wives.

Matthew leaves behind his wife Madeline and a child on the way. Meanwhile, Johnny leaves behind his wife Meredith, who is expecting their third child. Overall, this tragedy is just horrible and it is not fair that Madeline and Meredith must go on without their husbands. On social media, they have been doing their best to honor Johnny & Matthew while remembering all of the good times they shared.

For instance, Meredith recently took to social media where she posted Matthew's incredible speech from her wedding to Johnny. Below, you can watch the speech, which certainly must be hard to watch for the family. However, it is a reminder of how much love they all shared.

In a previous post, Meredith spoke on how difficult this upcoming hockey season will be given Johnny should be playing right now. However, she also spoke on just how amazing Johnny was and how he always loved the game more than what came with it.

'My perfect husband. I want to say that watching these videos has me feeling so thankful but to be honest I never once didn't feel like the luckiest most grateful girl in the world since the day I met him. Videos like this is why. I love you so much John. Thank you for being the perfect husband.'

Our heart goes out to the Gaudreau family during this very difficult time. The entire hockey world is behind the Gaudreaus and there is no doubt that the unity has been absolutely beautiful.
