Montreal Canadiens To Honour Price This Season

On Tuesday, the Montreal Canadiens announced that they will be adding legendary goaltender Carey Price to the Ring of Honour at the Bell Centre on November 10th, when they take on the Minnesota Wild.

The news of Price entering the Montreal Canadiens Ring of Honour is related to him being part of the Hockey Hall of Fame Class of 2026, which was revealed back on June 22nd. Price will become the 62nd member of the Montreal Canadiens organization to be inducted into the Hockey Hall of Fame. Since the Ring of Honour is to celebrate all the members of the organization in the Hockey Hall of Fame, Price will also become the 62nd member of that club as well.

He and the other members of the 2026 class are set to be inducted into the Hockey Hall of Fame on Monday, November 9th, the day prior to his entry to the Canadiens’ Ring of Honour.

The 39-year-old Price played all of his 761 NHL games with the Montreal Canadiens across 15 seasons. He finished with a career record of 361-261-79 alongside a .917 save percentage and 2.51 GAA in the regular season. His 361 wins with the Canadiens is the most by any goaltender throughout the team’s 117 years of history.

Price also played 92 playoff games throughout his career, which includes all 22 games during a run to the Stanley Cup Finals in 2021. In the postseason, Price had a 43-45 record with an even better .919 save percentage and 2.39, proving that he was indeed a bigger game performer.

On top of announcing the date that they will honour Price for being inducted into the Hockey Hall of Fame, the Canadiens announced their entire promotional event schedule for the 2026-27 season.
