NHL Friday bets: Shoot your shot with these props

Friday in the NHL brings with it a solid batch of games, including some of the most generous teams to shots on goal. We've got four prop plays here offering us value on the ice.

Patrice Bergeron over 3.5 SOG (-135 DK)

This is a bit more juiced than I'd like, but I am betting to win 1u on Bergeron's shots at -135.

Reports suggest Brad Marchand will not play on back-to-backs to begin the year, so any concerns about his return and the impact on Bergeron can be put to bed for this evening. With or without him, this play looks to be a good one.

Columbus is allowing 32.1 shots per game and Boston is shooting the puck at an elite rate this year. Don't be too scared off by the Bruins on a back-to-back here. They had one last week and Bergeron piled up seven shots and three points.

Bergeron is over 3.5 SOG in both away games this season and six straight on the road. Last year against the Blue Jackets, Bergeron went over this line in all three meetings, finishing with six, four and five SOG.

.5u: Patrice Bergeron goal (+165 DK)

We'll be bringing back goal-scorer bets more often on our shot targets, we saw two article plays yesterday in Alex DeBrincat and Patrick Kane each cover their shots and find the back of the net.

Columbus is allowing 4.1 goals per game and the Bruins are averaging 4.3 scored per contest. Given the love of Bergeron's shots, I like him too to score. He has four goals this season, and one in each road game.

Jack Hughes over 3.5 SOG (+105 MGM)

We continue to target Jack Hughes, his volume is just too good to ignore. Hughes is over this 3.5 mark in all four home games this season and in eight of his last 10 in New Jersey.

Colorado is allowing nearly 33 shots per game, and have been particularly generous to the center position, which should benefit Hughes.

The Devils young star had six SOG when he faced the Avalanche last season. At plus-money, we have to grab this.

Sidney Crosby & Pierre-Luc Dubois over 2.5 SOG (+161 DK)

We'll keep this reasoning simple. Crosby and the Pens will face Vancouver tonight, a team allowing 32.3 shots per game and on the second night of a back-to-back.

Crosby is over 2.5 SOG in four straight games, three of which have come on the road, and in two games against the Canucks last season he finished with four and five SOG.

Dubois is rolling for Winnipeg and will see an Arizona team allowing 36.5 shots per game. Dubois has 3+ shots in four straight and has finished with four SOG in three straight. In four games against the Coyotes last season, Dubois was over this total all four times, averaging 4.8 shots/game.

Enjoy your Friday on the ice, let's win some bets.
