
The Ottawa Senators are acquiring forward Warren Foegele from the Los Angeles Kings. The Senators are sending a 2026 second-round draft pick to the Kings. The two teams are also swapping conditional draft picks. Foegele in 47 games this season for the Kings has nine points on seven goals and two assists. He’s a minus-six with a game-winning goal.

The Carolina Hurricanes drafted Foegele 67th overall in the 2014 NHL Entry Draft. He made his NHL debut on March 26, 2018, he also scored a goal and added an assist in that game. Foegele spent four seasons in Carolina appearing in 200 games recording 68 points on 35 goals and 33 assists. He was a minus-one with three power-play goals, and five game-winning goals. Foegele then joined the Edmonton Oilers where he spent three seasons. He played in 231 games in Edmonton recording 95 points on 45 goals and 50 assists. Foegele was a plus-one with three power-play goals, two shorthanded goals, and nine game-winning goals.
He then joined the Kings where he’s appeared in 129 games recording 55 points in 31 goals and 24 assists. He was a +30 with a power play goal and eight game-winning goals. He’s appeared in 86 Stanley Cup Playoff games recording 27 points on 13 goals and 14 assists. He’s a minus-seven with two game-winning goals.
