Paul Bissonnette is once again making noise about the Florida Panthers and sending them a warning based on the Toronto Maple Leafs and their looming chance at winning the Stanley Cup.

Hours after the Panthers clinched their second consecutive Stanley Cup with a 5–1 win over the Edmonton Oilers in Game 6 of the finals, Bissonnette took to X to congratulate the Cats while dropping a bold prediction.

“Incredible celebration. Congratulations to the @FlaPanthers on an incredible run,” Bissonnette posted. “Nothing else like the Stanley Cup. Doing it back to back is remarkable. Enjoy it while it lasts. Next year’s our year. #LeafsForever.”

Bissonnette, a former NHL player and current analyst for TNT, as well as the co-host of the renowned “Spittin’ Chiclets” podcast, has never hidden his Leafs allegiance.

This isn’t the first time Bissonnette has issued a public warning to the Panthers while backing the Leafs.

Before the second-round series between the two franchises earlier this postseason, he ramped up the rhetoric with an emotional message on his show.

“Now it's on to Goliath, the Florida Panthers, and we have unfinished business with you,” Bissonnette said. “You hear that, 'Bennett the Menace'? Hi, Matthew! We just took down your brother Brady, and now we're coming for you.”

Of course, the Panthers eliminated Toronto in seven games, marking the second straight postseason where they’ve ended the Leafs’ run.

Bissonnette is already promising that won’t happen again, but it's hard to believe Toronto has enough, as currently constructed, to beat the Panthers in a seven-game series.

The Maple Leafs will have a chance at revamping their roster their season with star forward Mitch Marner and John Tavares set to hit free agency on July 1, potentially leaving and opening room for reinforcements to arrive throughout the summer.
