The Pittsburgh Penguins have assigned defenseman Owen Pickering to their farm team in Wilkes-Barre and promoted forward Boko Imama from the Baby Penguins.

Imama, a 6-foot-1, 220-pound left winger, has three goals, two assists and 47 penalty minutes in 24 games with Wilkes-Barre this season.

He is 28 and entered pro hockey as a sixth-round draft choice by Tampa Bay in 2015.
