London Knights goaltender Austin Elliott will attend the Dallas Stars development camp, The Athletic’s Joshua Kloke reports.

It was previously reported that Elliott was invited to the Toronto Maple Leafs’ training camp, but Elliott refuted this notion via Kloke. Elliott previously participated in the Maple Leafs’ summer development camp in 2023.

Elliott helped the Knights capture the 2025 Memorial Cup, posting a 4-1-0 record along with a .943 save percentage and a 1.59 goals against average. The 21-year-old was awarded the Hap Emms Memorial Trophy, granted to the tournament’s best goaltender as a result. During the OHL regular season, Elliott posted a phenomenal 32-1-0 record with a .924 save percentage and 2.10 goals against average. Elliott followed this up with a 16-1 record during the playoffs, with a .906 save percentage and 2.46 goals against average.

“A lot of credit of course goes to the team in front of me,” Elliott said to Brent Lale of CTV News in April. “They make it a lot easier, but it’s been an amazing year. To be a part of a team like this, you know, not many people get that opportunity.”

Elliott was waived by the Saskatoon Blades of the Western Hockey League and was claimed off waivers by the Barrie Colts of the Ontario Hockey League. London promptly traded two late-round picks in exchange for Elliott’s rights on October 17.

A change of scenery paid dividends as Elliott joined a loaded Knights team that includes Maple Leafs’ top prospect Easton Cowan and several promising NHL prospects including Sam Dickinson (San Jose Sharks) Sam O’Reilly (Edmonton Oilers) Denver Barkey (Philadelphia Flyers) and Kasper Halttunen (San Jose Sharks) among others.

Cowan was named Memorial Cup MVP after recording three goals and seven points in five games.

Elliott will be joining UMass Lowell in the NCAA next fall, where another stellar campaign could see him rise in the Stars’ estimation.
