Mason McTavish has made it clear that he isn't currently happy with the Anaheim Ducks, and now the young star forward could be a target of other teams as insider Frank Seravalli notes that he's a player of interest for many teams around the league.

The Anaheim Ducks have made some big time moves this off-season, and after moving Trevor Zegras following the acquisition of Chris Kreider, it's become clear that General Manager Pat Verbeek wants this team to push for the Stanley Cup Playoffs in the very near future.

One player that they'll be relying on to make that happen is Mason McTavish, who currently shapes up to be their 2C moving forward, but recent reports have revealed that he may not be happy with the way things have played out with the Ducks.

Now, according to Frank Seravalli, the 22-year old former No. 3 overall pick is shaping up as a potential trade chip for the Ducks, with the expectation around the league being that teams could target McTavish with a big trade.

This comes on the back of a season in which he tallied career highs in goals and points with 22 and 52 in 76 games played, but for some reason, he remains un-signed long-term, and that could mean the Ducks are pushing to trade the young star.

It's unclear exactly why the Ducks haven't invested in him yet, as he has great size and three years of fantastic production behind him already, but if he is truly available, don't be shocked to see several teams pursuing him and using the Ducks need for veteran talent to land the rising star.
