Things getting ugly as Rangers locker room reportedly turning on each other after players-only meeting

The New York Rangers locker room is reportedly turning on each other following recent reports of displeasure and frustration that generated from the organization's upper management.

According to a recent report from NHL analyst Steve Dangle, the New York Rangers held a players-only meeting where they discussed their concerns regarding the way the Rangers GM Chris Drury is handling things.

Dangle spoke out about his situation during the "Steve Dangle Podcast," insisting that the players have turned on their GM and want him to change the way he operates or to even have him removed from his position.

Here's what Dangle had to say:

"There was a players only meeting and it was not to discuss Peter Laviolette...that relationship is fine...Their main gripe is Chris Drury...They want him (Chris Drury) to either change his ways or be gone.'

None of this is honestly not surprising considering Drury's latest moves.

Drury recently forced captain Jacob Trouba out of the organization as an attempt to "shake things up" and it has, but apparently not the way Drury wanted it to.

Along with that, there is speculation that Drury is trying to get rid of another two veterans, Chris Kreider and Mika Zibanejad, two of the longest-serving Rangers.

So clearly the players feel like they were stabbed in the back by Drury and it has resulted in their downfall, as the Rangers currently have a record of 15-14-1.

Hopefully, the team and organization can get over whatever is affecting them and start winning some hockey games as soon as Tuesday night, as the Rangers face the Nashville Predators.
