Brady Tkachuk has yet to appear in a game for the Ottawa Senators since his stint for the United States in the recently concluded 4 Nations Face-Off.
But at least he's already appeared on the hit podcast, “New Heights,” of Kansas City Chiefs superstar tight end Travis Kelce and former Philadelphia Eagles offensive lineman Jason Kelce.
Tkachuk was with his brother, Florida Panthers star Matthew Tkachuk, on the show to talk about several topics, including their experience representing the United States in the 4 Nations Face-Off tournament.
Although the United States fell short of winning the tourney, Brady said that “it was the best hockey experience I ever had (h/t Christopher Detwiler of NHL.com).”
Matthew, on the other hand, said that he was thrilled to see “people across the country that might have … never watched a game,” become instant hockey fans.
Before saying goodbye to his and Jason's guests, Travis gave a heartfelt message to the Tkachuk brothers, who still have a lot of hockey in front of them, as the 2024-25 NHL regular season approaches its home stretch.
"Good luck chasing the [Stanley] Cup this year and appreciate you guys coming on," the three-time Super Bowl champion said.
Matthew has already won the Stanley Cup in 2024 when the Panthers defeated Connor McDavid and the Edmonton Oilers in the NHL’s championship series.
As for Brady, who has missed two games in a row due to an injury he suffered during the mini-tournament, he has yet to play in the Stanley Cup Playoffs. The last time the Senators reached the postseason was in 2017, a year before Ottawa took him in the first round of the 2018 NHL draft.
