We have some fantastic news to share, live from the Montreal Canadiens' morning practice. It was TVA Sports journalist Renaud Lavoie who first reported it, young David Reinbacher is currently on the ice for the morning practice.

Wow!

So, it looks like he'll be back on the ice soon, which will be a major boost for the organization.

David Reinbacher is on the ice for the Canadiens' practice

There was indeed a new face this morning among the Canadiens' defense pairs.

Here's the confirmation from Renaud:

He is obviously talking about a non-contact jersey.

This confirms that Reinbacher will likely return to action much earlier than expected and that his season is far from over.

This is great news for his development and for the future of the Habs.

We can see him here, notably with a certain Lane Hutson:

I would be surprised to see him play with the Montreal Canadiens in the upcoming games, but in any case, he's practicing with the team.

"Defenseman David Reinbacher, who suffered a knee injury during the preseason, is participating in the Habs' practice this morning in Brossard, wearing a blue non-contact jersey."
