The Vancouver Canucks released their schedule for the 2025-2026 season on Wednesday morning.
As a teaser, the Canucks dropped a post on their Twitter/X, sharing that they will open the season at home against one of their Western Canadian rivals, the Calgary Flames.

In the same post, the Canucks gave fans a hint of what their schedule release video may look like, with the image resembling the cover of NHL 25, which features Canucks Captain Quinn Hughes and his two brothers, Jack and Luke. Also, at the bottom, the Canucks use the same font as EA Sports does in the game when you load into a match.
This was later confirmed a few hours later when the Canucks dropped their NHL 25 inspired scheduled release with local rapper and singer bbno$.

As mentioned, the Canucks will kick off their season on Thursday, October 9, against the Flames for the second consecutive year. Vancouver welcomed Calgary on opening night to start the 2024-2025 season, but squandered a 4-1 first period lead, only to drop the contest 6-5 in overtime.
Vancouver will then travel to Edmonton for a Hockey Night in Canada match against the Oilers – Evander Kane’s homecoming after spending the previous three seasons in Alberta. On October 13, the Canucks will have a homecoming of their own, as they welcome Pius Suter and the St. Louis Blues to town.
The Canucks then head on the road for a five-game road trip, one of which includes a stop against the Pittsburgh Penguins on October 21, where they’ll run into the goaltender who brought the organization a Calder Cup, Arturs Silovs. And just one week later (October 28), JT Miller will return to Vancouver for the first time since being traded to the New York Rangers in late January.
While Suter, Silovs and Miller won’t wait long to see their former team, ex-Head Coach Rick Tocchet will have to wait until late December to face his former team. The Canucks are set to meet the Philadelphia Flyers twice in the span of eight days: December 22 and December 30.
With the NHL returning to the Olympics in 2026, the Canucks will play 57 regular season games before their Olympic break on February 4. This is two more games than the Canucks played before last season’s 4 Nations Face-Off break. The Canucks resume action three weeks later when they welcome the Winnipeg Jets to town.
The Canucks have two lengthy homestands and just one long road trip.
In January, they will travel out east to take on the Buffalo Sabres, Detroit Red Wings, Toronto Maple Leafs, Montreal Canadiens, Ottawa Senators and Columbus Blue Jackets (January 6-15). However, once they return, they are met with an eight-game homestand, facing off against the Oilers, New York Islanders, Washington Capitals, New Jersey Devils, Pittsburgh Penguins, San Jose Sharks, Anaheim Ducks and Toronto Maple Leafs (January 17-31).
Then, in March, the Canucks have another eight-game stretch when they welcome the Senators, Nashville Predators, Seattle Kraken, Florida Panthers, Tampa Bay Lightning, the Blues, the Ducks, and the Los Angeles Kings to Rogers Arena (March 9-26).
The Canucks conclude their season with nine games in 16 days in April, as they wrap up the 2025-2026 regular season against the Oilers.
