The Vancouver Canucks have been a busy team this off-season, and according to reports, they're now potentially ready to move on from two key players in Dakota Joshua and Teddy Blueger who appear set for a role on the fourth line this season.
After their 2023/24 campaign, many looked at the Vancouver Canucks as a team that could excel for years in the Pacific Division, but just last year they battled injuries and a drama that defined their season as they struggled to make the Stanley Cup Playoffs.
This off-season, they're looking to put all that behind them after they moved on from J.T. Miller, and by re-signing Brock Boeser, they showed that they were serious about turning things around quickly.
This summer, the team have already re-signed Boeser and traded for Evander Kane while moving Arturs Silovs, but according to top reporters from Sportsnet, they aren't quite done yet.
A recent report has revealed that both Teddy Blueger and Dakota Joshua are names to look for in a Canucks trade as they look to beef up the centre position ahead of an intriguing 2025/26 campaign.
It's unclear if they are actively shopping either player or if they've just put the word out there that both could be had for a reasonable deal, but with needs on the right side of the defense and the centre position, it makes sense to be shopping both of them.
With plenty of teams around the league cashed up and looking to make some changes before training camp begins, there could be many suitors out there for both Blueger and Joshua, and given how the Cancuks are looking to improve, don't be shocked to see both moved in the near future.
