
A massive brawl broke out during the third period in the battle of Florida between the Panthers and Lightning. Multiple players were given game misconduct penalties.

Including the preseason, the two teams have played a total of seven times this season and combined for 793 penalty minutes. In today’s game the teams combined for a total of 142 penalty minutes.
There were so many penalties given out during the fight that referee Garrett Rank had to write down a list of every player who got a penalty.

It was a game to forget for the Panthers. The back-to-back Stanley Cup Champions lost 6-1 and goalie Daniil Tarasov was pulled after only saving 20/25 shots. The team is 1-6 in their last seven games.
As for the Lightning, they have been on a roll winning their last five games. Oliver Bjorkstrand scored in his third consecutive game and Nikita Kucherov recorded an assist, making it seven straight games with finishing with a point. The team also finished with six different goal scorers.
