New York Islanders sign Fredrik Karlstrom to one-year, $775,000 contract

The New York Islanders have signed free agent forward Fredrik Karlstrom to a one-year, one-way contract that has a cap hit of $775,000. Karlstrom spent the 2023-24 season with the Dallas Stars’ American Hockey League (AHL) affiliate the Texas Stars, where he registered 21 goals and 23 assists for 44 points in 72 games.
