ECHL: Jacksonville Icemen Announce New Head Coach

The Jacksonville Icemen have promoted assistant coach Brandon Mashinter to Head Coach and Director of Hockey Operations after Nick Luukko took a job as an assistant coach in the AHL with the Scranton Wilkes/Barre Penguins.

Penguins hire second assistant coach for Wilkes-Barre

The Penguins on Saturday rounded out Wilkes-Barre/Scranton's coaching staff with the addition of Nick Luukko as an assistant coach. Luukko joins new head coach Kirk MacDonald behind the bench, along with returning assistant coach Sheldon Brookbank. Brookbank managed the defense and penalty-kill the previous two seasons.
