Browns WR Jarvis Landry joins elite list with 600th career reception

When Odell Beckham Jr. went down with a torn ACL, the Cleveland Browns expected Jarvis Landry to step up, and he did just that on Sunday against the Houston Texans.

The five-time Pro Bowler recorded his 600th career reception on Sunday, becoming the seventh player in NFL history to record 600-plus receptions within his first seven seasons, per NFL Research. He joins an elite list of players who have accomplished the feat, including Marvin Harrison, Antonio Brown, DeAndre Hopkins, Torry Holt, Larry Fitzgerald and Brandon Marshall.

Landry entered Sunday's contest with 33 receptions for 419 yards and no touchdowns.

The 27-year-old said earlier in the week that he was playing the rest of the season for Beckham Jr. The duo has been good friends since their days at LSU together.
