The Utah Jazz fell to the Memphis Grizzlies in the opening game of their playoff series Sunday and were without All-Star guard Donovan Mitchell, who hasn't played since suffering an ankle injury on April 16. Following reports that Mitchell was "incensed" Utah scratched him from Game 1, the club confirmed he'll be available for Game 2 on Wednesday.
Per ESPN's Tim MacMahon, Mitchell admitted on Monday he's still unhappy he didn't play Sunday but is ready to return to the rotation:
Donovan Mitchell readily admits he was upset and frustrated by being held out of Game 1. He firmly believes he should have played, but he's ready to move on. "Excuse my language, but we've got s--- to handle."

Mitchell said after Sunday morning's shootaround he was "ready to go," but Utah's training staff ultimately recommended he remain inactive through Game 1. That decision reportedly "deepened tensions" between Mitchell and team officials.
He addressed the controversy Sunday night via Twitter:
Sorry y’all... I wish I could say more.... I’ll be out there soon !❤️

Before the setback, Mitchell was averaging 26.4 points, 5.2 assists and 4.4 rebounds per game on the season.
