There was a time when Wisconsin was in on every top recruit in the nation.
The Badgers don't have the same recruiting profile they once did, but they're still a top spot for elite offensive linemen, running backs and linebackers.
As such, it's no surprise that the Badgers have landed four-star linebacker Mason Posa over Oregon and Texas A&M. It's not even surprising considering the fact that Posa is from Albuquerque, New Mexico. He's willing to undertake the cold winters of Wisconsin to be the Badgers' next great linebacker.

Posa is a big-time commitment for the Badgers. In fact, he's the highest-ranked commitment of head coach Luke Fickell's 2025 class. That says something, too, because he's also Wisconsin's 18th 2025 commit.
According to 247Sports, he's the No. 18 linebacker recruit in the country.
Posa notched 133 tackles, 21 tackles for loss, nine sacks, three forced fumbles, two interceptions and three fumble recoveries as a junior. If he keeps up that production in 2024, he'll easily be one of the most hyped Wisconsin recruits in quite some time.
