Impending free agent Klay Thompson caused quite a stir over the weekend by unfollowing the Warriors across all social media platforms. Naturally, the move led some to speculate on his future with the franchise he helped win four championships.
At least two of his teammates, Draymond Green and Moses Moody, downplayed the notion that Thompson's activity was a sign of things to come.
Green felt it was "comical" for people to assume that Thompson unfollowed the Warriors due to his strained relationship with the franchise.
"I know you all want somebody's feelings to be hurt or something. It ain't that, ain't never going to be that. That's hilarious," Green said on "The Draymond Green Show."

Moody cited his own experience of dealing with such drama. Last year, fans thought he was unhappy with the Warriors and therefore unfollowed the franchise on Instagram.
"Last year, they had a video that said I unfollowed the Warriors, but I didn't follow them in the first place," Moody told ABC's "After the Game" broadcast, adding that he never had an Instagram account. "I didn't follow them all year. You got to be careful when the media is playing witch [such] situations."
Despite Green and Moody's lack of concern over Thompson's social media activity, the fact remains that the sharpshooter could be on the verge of donning non-Warriors colors for the first time in his career.
Thompson is rumored to draw interest from teams such as the Sixers, Thunder and Magic when he becomes a free agent on June 29.
According to The Athletic's Marcus Thompson II, the chances of Thompson staying put in the Bay Area are not "looking good," especially since the second-generation star will have "a bunch of money thrown at him" from interested suitors.
The Warriors are unlikely to get into a bidding war with teams for Thompson, per The Athletic's Anthony Slater, who reported last month that the franchise intends to retain him "only at the right price."
