The Oilers took care of business in Game 5 of the Stanley Cup Final, and they've opened as favorites for Game 6 at home as they attempt to become just the second team in NHL history to come back from a final down three games to zero.

Edmonton opened as -126 favorites at home with a puck spread of -1.5 (+202), according to odds at FanDuel, the country's most popular sportsbook. Conversely, the Panthers are +104 underdogs with a puck spread of +1.5 (-250). The total is 5.5 with the over vigged to -105 and under vigged to -115.

While the Oilers had been as long as +720 to win it all down three games to one, Edmonton is now +275 at bet365 to pull off the miracle upset, meaning a $100 wager would profit $275. The Oilers had been as long as +1150 when down three games after Game 3.

Edmonton has come into its own offensively of late, putting up 13 goals over the last two games after sputtering for the first three games. The Oilers scoring eight goals in Game 4 and five in Game 5.

On the backs of Connor McDavid and Leon Draisaitl, the Oilers are on the doorstep of history. While the market still considers them — rightfully — an underdog to win it all, momentum is on their side.
