If you are up in the greater Edmonton area, admission to Game 6 of the Stanley Cup Final is the hottest ticket in town – if you can get one, that is.
The Oilers staved off elimination once again on Tuesday when they topped the Florida Panthers by a 5-3 score in Sunrise, Florida, to cut the series lead to 3-2 and as Connor McDavid predicted, drag the Panthers back to Alberta for another game. As such, ticket prices for a seat at Rogers Place on Friday have soared to upwards of $2000 for a spot in the nosebleeds.

The cheapest ticket prices on Ticketmaster right now are showing $2000 for seats in the upper bowl. I've seen prices as high as $8000 being listed by re-sellers.#Oilers
Daily Hive's Preston Hodgkinson reports that the cheapest seats of the lower bowl exceed $2,500 – and that's if you buy a ticket through Ticketmaster.
"On the opposite spectrum, some re-sellers have jacked up the prices well above those marks," Hodgkinson reports. "Ticketmaster currently has some tickets listed for up to $9,000, with some coming dangerously close to $10,000."
